International Year of Mineralogy: Mineralogy IS the Future

On the occasion of the International Year of Mineralogy 2022, the Natural History Museum Vienna and the Austrian Mineralogical Society invite you to the panel discussion "Mineralogy IS the Future" on Wednesday, 28 September 2022, at 17:00.
2022 has been declared the international Year of Mineralogy by the International Mineralogical Association. MINERALOGY 2022 is a global initiative designed to highlight the importance of mineralogy in our daily lives and its vital interest for basic researchers.
The event "Mineralogy IS the Future" aims to draw the attention of a wide audience to the importance mineral raw materials hold for society. A public discussion – including a panel of experts – provides an opportunity for networking and is designed to help raise awareness of topics such as raw material security, resource conservation and provision and an environmentally friendly use of raw materials, smart production, the circular economy, new value-adding technologies and products of mineral raw materials:
